Unrequited expectations more often than not lead to unhappiness. This is the reason that wise men always advice against having grand expectations. However, what if your plan is taking more time than expected to show results? What if your expectation is the only thing keeping you positive about the plan? In such a case expectations can in fact prove to be little life jackets keeping your goals alive. This is why, when it comes to your goals always expect the best. As it gives you positivity and the drive to keep striving. However never get too carried away with your expectations of summer and forget to prepare for the storm. While keeping your hopes up, remember to build a shed in case it rains. Prepare a safety net of savings which would help you in case of a financial crisis.

Now after expecting the best and preparing for the worst, its time to reap fruits of your efforts. The outcome is quite out of your control so your only job now is to capitalize on it. If your endeavour was a success, capitalize on it by celebrating , if not, capitalize on it by learning. Because a success without growth is worthless and a failure with a lesson is priceless.
